Mai Kids Play

I opened Mai Kids Play's in June 2023.   After graduating from the pre-school teaching department of Bogaziçi University in 2008, I worked as a teacher and administrator in many different schools. After the pandemic, I took a 2-year break from teaching, after  which  I returned to education thinking about exactly what I wanted to do that would be unique and of benefit to children. Mai Kids Play is a play center where children aged 1.5 - 4 come and play games with their parents. I am an educator who believes that very young children need to play and explore, and that is the focus of my play center. In Mai Kids Play, I create large spaces for explorers, using sensory games with the children.  Through  this process, I support parents and students in activities that are foundational to  all child development areas, in particular, language aquisition.
